Ron Dunkley Memorial Society Shredding Event
The Ron Dunkley Memorial Society is a registered charitable foundation supporting several causes including the B.C. Professional Firefighters Burn Fund, Muscular Dystrophy Foundation, Canadian Blood Services, and the University of Washington Medicine.
This weekend, on April 30 from 10 am to 2 pm, BEST will be participating in a shredding event held at the Town & Field Church parking Lot (20719 – 48th Avenue) at the corner of 48th Ave & 208th St. This event will provide safe disposal of old cheques, confidential documents, bank statements, old bills, and old tax returns. The money raised at the fundraiser will be used to purchase a scholarship for the Langley Secondary School.
There is no minimum donation for the shredding event, and everyone is welcome to participate. Coffee and snacks will be served to celebrate Ron Dunkley’s 46th birthday.
During COVID, the Ron Dunkley Memorial Society was unable to hold events to raise funds and is excited to be able to do so again. Therefore, we invite you to come and support this fundraiser! See you there!
