Rotary Club of Coquitlam Shredding Event
Tax season is almost over and spring is coming! Rotary Club of Coquitlam is back with another shredding event by donation. This event will be held on Saturday, March 19, from 10 am to 2 pm at 1200 Sequin Drive (at the Canadian Tire parking lot, the corner of Lougheed Highway and King Edward Street).
Donations will be allocated to the Rotary Club of Coquitlam to support local initiatives for families, youth, and kids in the community. Rotary Club of Coquitlam is about serving and giving back to the community. Their previous spring shredding event helped fundraise several youth projects such as bursaries, community gardens, literacy and environmental programs, Christmas hampers for needy families, and support programs for school sports teams. The goal for this year’s spring fundraiser is to provide physical and mental health aid to young people, particularly those who were denied access to sports and extracurricular programs, to help them get through COVID-19.
Come and bring your old documents including old receipts, tax forms, bills, banking statements, invoices, and other personal documents to be safely and securely shredded. Last year, the club managed to collect more than $12,000 in donations, so let’s all support this event and help more people in need!
