COVID-19: A letter from BEST Shredding
COVID-19: A letter from BEST Shredding
The world is facing a truly unprecedented situation. The global pandemic of COVID-19 is affecting our families, our businesses, our communities, and our way of life.
At BEST Shredding, we are taking proactive measures to keep our team members and communities safe in the wake of the current global COVID-19 situation.
At present, we will continue to service all our customers using the precautions listed below. Our regulatory and safety teams are continuously monitoring the outbreak of COVID-19, and we will adapt our practices as necessary as the situation evolves.
We have a cross-functional team monitoring the situation to ensure precautions are taken accordingly and communicated effectively:
- Our technicians will no longer ask clients to sign our handheld computers. Instead, they will make a verbal confirmation with the person present, and note the time in the signature box.
- If a customer requests BEST Shredding to not enter their space, the customer can bring us their bags or bins of material for shredding. We will then complete the service, and return the bin or bag to the client at the entrance.
- If your office has a confirmed case of COVID-19 please let us know so we can take extra precaution when servicing your office.
- We are communicating governmental guidance on infection prevention and when to self-isolate and seek medical assistance to each one of our team members, and we require them to follow this guidance.
- We have limited business travel to meet governmental guidelines.
- Our leadership teams are routinely communicating with our team, and providing guidance on precautionary measures for both work and home.
Our goal through these challenging times will be to further verify that your organization’s decision to entrust the BEST Shredding Team was indeed the right decision.
If you have any concerns, please feel free to reach out to us: info@bestshredding.ca
